Following up on yesterday’s 2010 map of social networking, here is a palette of The 28 Flavors of Online Conversation in 2010.

It is the full 2010 online Conversation Prism, created and regularly updated by Brian Solis and creative agency JESS3. I found this on Fast Company’s Co.Design.

As the caption underlines, the state of online conversation evolves and grows and so is this palette.

Marketing goes hand in hand with Google.

Here’s an Infographic by computer school.org to show you the Empire.

Hello!

I’ve been away for a long time… A few things have changed, including accepting a full time job focused on content in a PR company.

So the question is critical: what to blog about now? Please bear with me while I finish figuring this out. It may take a more story-telling turn or a visual/design approach. I strongly believe in telling the stories behind the known facts — like the personal stories behind great companies or amazing people, for example. I also am of those who think that informative visualizations (i.e. infographics) is key in today’s communication modes.

Personal. Human. Infographics. Design. These are the directions the editorial path may take. Do suggest if you have requests or wishes, find me on Merrybubbles

If you live in the U.S., you may know about this ad, the Old Spice Ad. Those guys have been shooting a whole series of self-deprecating videos but mostly, they have been bridging the gaps between what you expect traditionally from ads to take them to another level. So what they did is to involve their Old Spice character into Twitter conversations and challenges. Watch those two videos, you’ll see what I mean and why Old Spice is trending high on the chirpy platform:

Taking on someone’s friend:

And… more recently proposing on behalf of a Tweep (i.e. Twitter user):

Mashable tells us the lady has said yes… in real life.

In my World Water Day post on March 22nd, I shared with you an inspiring and totally innovative live ad that was on display in Paris, at the Place du Palais Royal.

I’m thrilled to tell you today that the “Water talks” installation designed for NGO Solidarités International by BDDP won a Gold Award in the Outdoor Display category at the Cannes Lions 2010 international advertising festival.

Congratulations to the French agency BDDP Unlimited and its team.

Here’s the full video of the installation, from setup to display:

Here’s again what I’d captured ad hoc on my BlackBerry:
